Cullen Resort
is a family owned and operated housekeeping
resort located just five minutes northeast of Nisswa and away from
disturbing City noises. What you'll find is a quiet, secure, relaxing setting
surrounded by 35 acres of heavily wooded grounds for you and your group
to enjoy. Our resort has been a "Family Owned Resort" Since 1928.

Quality Accommodations.
All of our PET FREE & SMOKE-FREE
cabins feature AIR CONDITIONING, microwave ovens, automatic coffee makers, conditioned soft water, cable
TV and cabin-side parking. Some cabins are Wi-Fi capable and free Wi-Fi is available inside and near
the store. All bed linens and cooking utensils are provided as are
a picnic table and your own campfire ring. As a "housekeeping"
resort, you will need to bring your own towels and other personal items.
An aluminum fishing boat is available at a small
additional charge with your cabin rental. We also have Monthly and Seasonal cabin rentals

Need
a wheelchair accessible cabin? We can help. Our Cedar
cabin is handicap approved and we can add a hand-held shower head and
shower chair to the bathtub at no cost to you. Just make sure you tell
us before you arrive and we'll have everything ready for you!
We love our pets, but they are confined
to our home. Upper Cullen Resort has always been a "Pet-Free"
resort. You don't have to worry about disease or other nasty stuff left
behind by someone else's pet. We simply don't allow any guest pets in
our resort, period.

Wagon rides
abound during the prime summer season. Weekly Fun
and Games Activities including Worm Races, Kids Craft Day, Turtle Races in Nisswa, Ice Cream Social,
Minnow Races and we have a great Swimming Beach.
These activities change every year so don't miss out. We also have
a 1500 sft. air conditioned Lodge/Store with an on-site
laundry and game
room. Ice cream social on Sundays during peak season. We have extra hungry ducks in our duck pond and a pig to feed.

Great Lakes!
The three-lake Cullen chain boasts some of the most consistent fishing
here in the Brainerd Lakes Area. Abundant northern, bass, sunfish,
bluegill, crappie and some walleye gives Upper Cullen it's reputation
for consistency while maintaining just enough of a challenge to entice
even the best anglers to try their luck. Kids can catch pan fish right off

Our Lake.
Upper Cullen Lake, the most serene and undeveloped of the three lakes in
the Cullen Chain has no public launch access (other than our private resort
boat launch) which preserves
the quality of life here for the lake's residents and guests. This 435
acre lake is yours to enjoy without the crowding and amount of boating traffic found
on some other lakes. At one and one quarter miles across and 40 feet
deep, Upper Cullen Lake is perfect for swimming, fishing and most water
sports and is navigable during most all weather conditions. (FACTOID: Our resort
was one of the finalist locations considered for the filming of the movie
